you're right about the driving! I just saw 3 cars in the ditch on the way home from Livonia *Xmas party*. It was so cold my car battery crapped out on Saturday. Thankfully I was able to charge it and haven't had it quit yet. Spiced cider sounds delicious. I still want to make those Oatmeal Cookie drinks. I'm going to have to hit the store this week. :)

I love a lot of aspects of snow and the north...but when it all comes down to it...I hate actual winter. All I want to do it curl up in a warm bed and sleep not leave. It's not b/c I'm lazy, I just get cold as soon as winter hits and I can't warm up until the spring comes. I've drank two big cups of Spiced Cider alone tonight and my hands still are as cold as ice. Yeah, my car luckily hasn't stopped on me, but it's not liking the driving conditions. I think I had a piece of ice caught up in my pedals today as my car just would not go above 45mph. It felt stuck. Ah well, we live up here, we've gotta deal with it.

Well you saw my rant about the ppl here when snow comes so you know I know how you are feeling. Damn I'm glad I dont have to drive with them too. That would be hell!!
We are getting some snow in two days and the chaos will be back (all the snow from last time disappeared)...

I dont start freezing until around -20 but then again me being from the north and used to around -30!

Wish I knew a way to make you warm.

You'd think I would be used to the cold by now. I live where I am now until I was 18 and then moved to a colder, more snowier area of New York for 4 years, and then moved back here...Today the windchill was -20 I was told...I just drink a lot of hot fluids and layer on the clothes the best I can...luckily I think the snow may have tapered off for a couple days (of course now that I said that we'll get a huge storm), but I have a strange feeling that this winter will be more about cold than snow...

I dont really mind the snow as it makes it so much nicer outside. Brighter. And all sounds get softer. Love the winter nights. Who am I kidding, love all nights... ;o)
