Twenty-first Bite || Video/Action for Goldenrod, backdated to June 12th

[ an odd sight may greet you today, Dear Viewer. That being one kid sitting in Goldenrod with an Arcanine lounging protectively nearby, while the kid herself is the product of Murkrow bonding. Or the egg in her lap is, anyway, as they seem to be fighting over the right to sit on it. One will settle, get about ten seconds

[Shiraishi was just walking in Goldenrod, on his way to get some training done... while he spotted quite a large number of Murkrows around. Well this didn't look that good. Especially with the Arcanine, who seemed like it was protecting something.

Maybe a little scare would be nice for the Murkrows? At least it might help the Arcanine a bit. Shiraishi tosses out a Pokeball, sending out an Ampharos]

Ampharos, Thundershock near the birds.

[Ampharos does as he's told, not really hitting any of the Mukrows, but looking like he will if they don't drop whatever they were doing]

[ Kisa jumps a litttle, the Pikachu emitting even more sparks, but it does succeed in sending the Murkrows into a tizzy of feathers. Off they go! ]

[After the Murkrows seem to be leaving, Shiraishi looks over at the spot where they mostly were hanging around... to see a girl with her Pokémon.

He won't approach her though. Since she seems a bit startled and he doesn't want to make that worse. He's an unknown guy after all.]

Are you alright?

[ a wise decision-- this one's incredibly shy, so when she speaks up, it's ridiculously quiet. ]

Y-yes... I'm fine...

[It's rather hard to hear her, yes, but not impossible. Shiraishi smiles]

There's really no need to thank me. Ampaharos was the one to do everything, after all.

[Ampharos looks happily at Kisa]

And I'm just glad you're not hurt.

Thank you, too. [ nodding to the Ampharos politely. ] I don't think... they wanted to hurt me, though...

[ a snort from the Arcanine, who is rising to her feet so she can tower over Shiraishi in an intimidating fashion. Like she'd LET them. ]

[Well, now this was rather awkward]

Ah. I ... didn't really know the situation. I just saw the Arcanine protecting something so I decided to help.

[Ampharos doesn't feel awkward though, since he's glad the Murkrows are gone. He does eye the Arcanine though]

... [ aww, Shiraishi, you get a smile. ] You're... really kind.

[ Ari has yet to decide this for sure, so she'll be watching the both of them. ]

[Ampharos calmly approaches Ari. He doesn't seem to want to argue or anything. Just make new friends. So have a wave]

[ Kisa, you don't have to look so nervous, he isn't going to bite your head off. Meanwhile, Ari is examining this Ampharos critically, before she dips her head, gives him a cursory sniff, and proceeds to... lick him. ]

[Ampharos isn't sure how to react to that lick. At least it didn't get all nervous about it...? Just. Confused. Wait, didn't lick cause paralyze]

[ nonsense, Arcanine tongues are perfectly paralytic-free. ]

[Ampharos gets back around and smiles sheepishly (...) at Ari]

And looks like Ampharos is making a new friend...?
