I never could commit to the one person I truly loved because I was afraid I'd get hurt again. Not telling him I loved him all along and seeing him with someone who isn't me hurts even more. If I had just said something even a few days earlier, we'd be together now. The day I planned to tell him was the day he started seeing someone new.
