[Okay, this is... certainly a weird sight.

Riku's watching with a curious look. Because really, what the heck, Moro?]

Any reason why you're dumping this wood out here?

To keep humans from wandering too far into my forest in search of it.

Your forest? If it's anyone's, it's the Malnosso's, and even that's stretching it.

[He shakes his head.]

Besides, wood's not the only reason people go there.

Do not test my authority, boy.

I am well aware.

[ Holy shit a giant wolf he's never seen before

Mikado will stop what he's doing when he spots Moro dragging all this wood around and stare curiously, and probably a little rudely too. so cool!! ]

[She'll drop a rather large bundle of twigs and branches onto the pile, turning her gaze to Mikado and growling warily.]

Um... Might I ask what you're doing?

Giving humans one less reason to roam in the depths of the forest.

[ ... that's different. Duke was just passing by when, all of a sudden, he saw some giant wolf carting around wood. This strikes him as peculiar enough to stand and watch for a while. ]

[There's about twenty minutes in between drops, and though she throws the occasional wary growl at humans, she does nothing except go about her business.]

[ He's not exactly impatient, so he probably waits for about three drops, standing in the same place and watching. Unless Moro wants to comment on that first, he'll speak. ] ... strange. For what purpose are you gathering this material?

The forest floor is littered with it, and though some fallen and rotting logs are good for the life, there is simply too much.

I will give the humans one less reason to roam so deep into my forest.

[She spots the wood during one of Moro's absenses though for the sake of actually interacting, near the end of such an absense and approaches it. ...Huh. Wonder who left this here? It does remind her of her plan to get Sokka to make her a woodstove, but right as Moro showed her how to find the wood, a lot happened and it had slipped her mind.

Maybe whoever put this here might let her take some of it if she asked....]

[Speak of the devil! She's coming back, mouth filled with as many branches as she could comfortably fit. She spits them onto the pile, noticing her new guest.]

[Her new guest looks up at the sound of more wood landing on the pile and practically rises several inches off the ground when she sees Moro. Things might have gone fine back when Moro had helped her with showing her how to find the proper deadwood, but there was going to always be some extent of fear of a giant galf wolf who was also probably a god and defintiely was willing to kill humans if given reason. She didn't feel confident that Moro would appreciate the difference between humans and Ferines.

She scrambles back a couple of steps. Okay, she had looked back through the journals to find Moro's name in one of Moro's rare voice posts -- now how to address her?] G-greetings, Lady Moro. [...oh gosh was that respectful enough? Hurk. Maybe add in some kind of bow. This was nerve-wracking.] I didn't mean to disturb you.

I am nearly breaching your territory. If anything, I am the one disturbing you.

[...Although she sounds more pleased than apologetic about that.]

[...Um wow that is a very large animal who is bringing wood to village's edge. Cam gulps a little in spite of hirself when it comes out of the treeline near hir (sie was inspecting the pile a bit) and-

Huh that almost makes one rethink that trip.]

[Moro's aware of a presence, if the deep grumble of a growl was any indication, but showed no sign of stopping what she was doing.]

[...Okay let's drop the wood and back away slowly. And maybe it isn't a pred- okay it is a predator maybe it's not a man-eating species.]

...Do not be so frightened. I am in your territory.

[Which makes her... less likely to eat you? Who knows.]
