[Moro's been oddly missing for... quite some time now, actually. Two weeks of being incredibly distant from the village, only rarely appearing in the distance to keep an eye out on the village. A week or so ago, she disappeared entirely, after what one would likely assume to be a mallynapping, given the evidence of violence in some areas

[San uses those same hunting grounds, so they're bound to run into one another. The size of this 'new' white wolf stops her in her tracks. It isn't one of her brothers, for certain.

[Moro stops, sitting down. Strange... that human smelled unbelievably like a wolf, even from a distance.]

[That is no mere human.

...Well okay. Really she is. But she doesn't believe that she is and she smells like Moro's den.]

[Anyone who smells that much of wolf can't be anyone normal. Perhaps they were traveling with another wolf? Or recently went into battle alongside one? Still, that would not explain the scent.

As the winds shift and turn the scent away from Moro, she stands, contemplates, before lifting her head and howling.]

[Miyabi's out in the forest today, underneath a tree and looking up through the branches. Her minds full and clouded with...not too many happy thoughts, and the forest always helped to calm her. However, even meditation can't completely put her mind at ease, so she just allows her mind to wander. Two friends were completely gone, one was changed and with no memory of her...and one of her closest, she hadn't heard from in some time. Perhaps she should check up on him. Just...just to make sure he was...o-okay.

She doesn't see the wolf, but feels the ground vibrate with her steps, and peers over the tree root she was leaning against. What--who was that? It wasn't Ammy, Miyabi would have seen the markings, and Ammy was smaller. But it couldn't be Moro, either, Moro was bigger than this wolf. A New Feather, maybe? It was that time, after all.

Hopefully this one was friendly. Her shimmering, golden aura isn't exactly inconspicuous.]

[Moro glances at the sprite, looking visibly relieved. A spirit! There.... weren't an awful lot in this forest, and she was getting worried.]

[Oh, gods, it saw her. Miyabi ducks down as best she could, behind the root. She wasn't sure if it was friendly or not, though it did look a lot like Moro. It even had the same dual tails like she did. Maybe it was her, and she was just under an experiment...like Luke was. Timidly, she calls out.]

M-Mother Moro?

...You know my name, little sprite?

Derek will pause in his cleaning of fresh-caught fish to look at the wolf, frowning slightly. It's his first time out in the woods since Ammy healed him of the infection. He's surprised to see her...but its because she doesn't look quite...right.

...Yes...no? It looks like her, only smaller.

Weird. Derek will tilt his head sidewise before giving his usual not-quite-a-wolf respectful greeting.]

...Moro?

[Moro turns her attention sharply, staring at Derek.]

The humans here know of me already?

[...all right, it is her. What have the Malnosso done this time...

Derek will nod his head.]

Yes. A larger, older you, but you. Time isn't always linear here.

[The concept of time travel, on a forest god from ancient times??? Derek plz.]

[It's the size that throws Emil off at first, because he's used to Moro being... well, a heck of a lot bigger than that. But it's impossible to mistake those two tails, so when he catches sight of them, he stops and blinks.]

[She skids to a stop, looking at Emil. Her body language is significantly less hostile than it normally is.]

I suppose you also knew of the "older me".

...No. I would recall a human with such golden hair.

[Silver remembers Moro. Silver remembers Moro being a very good reason to find high ground very quickly.

But this wolf is a lot smaller than Moro, so he'll just remain cautious and curiously peek in her direction when he sees her nearby.]

[Moro ignores his scent, but the sight of that red hair? Egad! She approaches, curiously, but keeps her distance in case he acts out of fear, treating him a bit more like an animal than anything else.]

[...Why is the giant wolf heading in his direction. He'll stay cautious, but won't react otherwise.]

[At a fair distance, she'll stop and sit down. He smells completely human... but there's another scent lingering. Hmm. Mysterious.]
