What form will your character's NV take? A floating seed that projects a picture ~magically~. She'll be unable to use a text function unlesss she gets a new NV, but it will capture video or audio.
Abilities
Character's Canon Abilities: Fairy magic. Mostly making plants grow, but she's also been shown chanting spells that can do things like shrink people. She's still learning to perform this magic correctly but by the end of the film she's inherited some of Magi's power and is shown to be much more confident with her abilities.
NOTE: In the movie, humans couldn't see fairies as they were unless under their spell, and could only see firefly-esque glowing dots. I'd like for this not to be the case in Siren's Pull, and to explain it as an effect of the Core.

Point in Canon: End of the movie
Character Personality: At her heart, Crysta is a character with a lot of curiosity. She wants to know about things she's never encountered before, shows a great interest in human lore and culture and doesn't let the possibility of danger get in her way. She investigates the smoke from Mount Warning despite her friend Batty's objections and concerns and gets closer than would be considered safe to the first human she sees and the giant machine that accompanies him. Still young and full of energy, she doesn't have a lot of patience for learning through listening to lessons and would always much rather be investigating her interests up close and personal.
Her youth also shows in a playful, mischievous side. She's shown teasing Pip and puckishly mushing a berry he'd been going to enjoy on his face and enjoying races through the forest, going further and higher than even the other fairies think it's safe to go. Crysta loves to push limits and be adventurous. She's a bold, free spirit, and the only doubts we see her harbor concern her ability to perform magic and help things grow. When Magi passes on, this doubt is soothed, and Crysta takes up the mantle as the magic leader of her tribe.
Crysta is full of kindness and empathy, cuddling Batty when she sees him hurt and showing genuine distraught at the thought of the trees of the forest being harmed, even if only by Zak's pocket knife. She feels and trusts deeply, and so when that trust is broken she can be deeply hurt. While forgiveness is not beyond her, the person who betrayed her trust has to actively prove themselves to her again.
For such a small fairy, Crysta is also incredibly brave. She fights to free Zak from the "monster" when she doesn't even know him and is in danger of becoming stuck herself, she swoops in to save him from the Beetle Boys when their "fun" with him goes a little too far, and she's tries to take on Hexxus by herself, ultimately flying into his mouth in order to grow a tree around him, even without knowing that she'd survive it. While she has a bleeding heart, it's a strong one as well.
Character Plans: Crysta will probably focus on the Port's problems concerning agriculture and the island's "pain" (i.e. the unhappiness of the Core and the effect it has). However, faced with so much new human culture to learn about, she'll also be plenty busy just learning.

...Hello? [a bright, curious face peeks into view] I've never seen magic like this before. Hmm...
[she cocks and eyebrow and pokes at the picture several times before fluttering back out of range - revealing a pair of gossamer wings. She puts her hands on her hips.]
Well I hope you can explain yourself, whatever-you-are. You're going get me in a lot of trouble if I don't get back to Ferngully soon.
Third Person Sample
Crysta hadn't gone far at all before she noticed something following her. Thinking to outrace it she'd zipped and zoomed across the sandy earth, weaving around a strange silver tree and diving back through an even stranger length of tangled silver weeds. But there it was again once she turned around, a little floating seed with a blinking green light. Crysta caught her breath and frowned at it. Maybe with wind or with magic seeds could float, but they shouldn't follow you. What a puzzle. Magi Lune had never taught her about something like this...
Ah! Maybe it had something to do with that blinking light. She pressed it without a second thought. Immediately dark green light projected forth, unfurling like a flower bloom into pictures made of light and sound.
" - Oh!" Crysta flew back in surprise, but it was only a moment before she flew forward again, her eyes wide with interest. She touched it, and was surprised to find that the pictures changed when she did. Sometimes they even began to move and talk. Then the glowing screen went blank - except for weird writing in the corner: 'REC'. What could that mean?
"...Hello?"
