hey love. i remember that day so well, all the pictures, it was quite an experience. i have to admit i hate all the talk about bush and whether people love him or hate him. its all too much from people that dont really know, but i think that bush will not win. unfortantely. people have become to narrow minded, they look at the glass half empty rather than half full. thus they look at all the "bad" he may had caused rather than the things he has prevented. people are ignorant and search for a scape goat and because of that i think it will unlikely for the majority of people to vote for him. especially when it was so close with him and clinton and people supposably loved clinton.

im pretty ignorant when it comes to this whole subject. i always tried to keep away from it. But i just realized that i realy dont think Bush has done anything for our country if other countries are discusted by us now. Like that swastika is just killing me to look at in that pic... urgh. I dont know all the facts but i know how i feel and i weep for the future of our country if we have to see Bush as our president for another term.

Hey Chelz. That was an amazing experience that we went through in Scotland. Who knows if Bush will win. All I can say is if we had not gone into Iraq now, what would have happened in ten years when Sadaam would have done something like Osamma did. Then the country would have turned around and said why didnt we go into Iraq and get him when we had the chance. It seems like this is what is happening now with Osamma Bin Laden. Now everone is saying why didnt Clinton take him out when he had two chances to do so during his presidency back in 2000. Now everyone is trying to find scapegoat for 9/11. They are saying it is the fault of Clinton for not taking out Osamma when he had the chance. So I think that if Bush had not have taken down Sadaam now eventually people would have been saying the same type of thing they are no for the 9/11 scheme ( ... )

Yes, I was offended at the time too being American in the middle of this protest against our country. I know that our country is not about that swastika that is why i didnt understand it when I saw it at the time. It was quite an experience.

I'm not offended by that at all. Bush has forged an image of our country with a war machine, and the rest of the world can only stand by and watch. Propoganda like that is indicative of our current state of foreign policy, which is very similar to Germany's circa 1939.

I wanted to say something else... Oh yeah! Wasn't the swastika a symbol of peace and prosperity -- until Hitler?

Sure, he doesnt have a direct influence on the economy. He's just the president. Nothing he does affects the economy in any way. The fact that we had a billion dollar surplus before him, and now we have a trillion dollar deficit...those are not related at all, I'm sure. Cutting funding for government programs so everyone could get a 300 dollar check in the mail and buy a new 25" TV has _nothing_ at all to do with our economic situation ( ... )
