I'm at the point again where I have so much music, but I don't really want to listen to anything I have.
I want music recommendations from you lot. I'm really into metal right now, as well as electronica (particularly breakcore like Aphex Twin and The Flashbulb)

Come on people!

If you're up for Japanese music, I've been loving on Maximum the Hormone, especially their most recent album Buiiki Kaesu!! If you want it, I can upload it on mediafire for you.

Haven't really been into Jap stuff since I grew out of my anime phase. Thanks for the recommendation, though!

It's actually pretty good metal...Well, sometimes it's metal, they really can't choose a freaking style and it changes mid-song sometimes. Koi no Megalover demonstrates this pretty well.

For metal I really like GWAR, Strapping Young Lad, and if you can dig instrumental Buckethead does some really weird stuff that isn't always metal but it's infused in his style :)

You may already listen to those I don't know.

:D do you have last.fm? if your already on my friends then I suppose I will appear QUITE the fool.

I'm a fan of Gwar. Haven't really heard much Strapping Young Lad, but a friend of mine has been trying to get me to listen to them. Will check out buckethead.
If I'm not on your LastFM, add me: athoria

After playing "Sleeping Giant" as a bonus track on Guitar Hero 3 and having it stuck in my head due to its awesomeness, I've just obtained Mastadon's "Blood Mountain" album. I'm only a few songs in right now as I write this, but so far it's a pretty kickass blend of riff-driven metal and melodic phrasing. Worth a look-see - I can upload if needs be.

Three steps ahead of you, got the whole discography :) Sleeping Giant is a brilliant track, agreed!

Nice. This track I'm on now ("Capillarian Crest") makes me see why their official website has trippy psychadelica-inspired artwork... this is just a crazy psychotic mash of guitar work, and it's fantastic. Looking forward to hearing more of their stuff. :)

If I hear anything else new, I'm keeping this post in mind!
