You're not a bad dog-mom ... maybe you're just a cat-person. Or the "chemistry" just isn't there with this pup. Not every dog is appealing, even to a dog lover. My friend adores her canine, and I make all the appropriate noises, but I find the pooch annoying rather than cute. Kind of like the Pomeranian Princess who lives upstairs from us and barks frantically for hours when left alone. She's improving, but we'd still like to punt her around the yard for awhile.
