Late Valentine's Drabble

Summary: Nino waits for Sho patiently though they missed their anniversary on the 14th.

February 9
The 4 members took Sho to the airport.
"Well guys, I'm off." Sho says, looking at the 4 members with a huge grin. They give Sho a "Do your best" with tight hugs. Except for one, Nino. Nino smiles from the side while he watches the 3 members bid Sho goodbyes and hugs. Sho responds with his toothy grin and promises to bring back souvenirs.
Sho pulls away when he felt that something was missing from their final group hug. He pulls away and his eyes fall on Nino. Ohno, Jun and Aiba tilt their heads to Nino's direction in confusion. They backed up a bit when Sho approaches Nino, giving the pair their time together.
"I'll hate you when you leave." Nino jokes with a chuckle. Sho pouts and scratches his head.
"Don't hate me, you know I'll be back."
"But you'll miss our anniversary. I'm all alone on that day."
"I know, I know. I'm really sorry for that."
"You should be, Sho-chan." After Nino's response, Sho hugs him. It was tight and warm, giving Nino a small time to inhale Sho's sweet scent before he leaves. They pull apart and gaze at each other's eyes. Sho leans to whisper in Nino's ear.
"I love you, wait for me." Nino nods with a smile and whispers he loves Sho too. Sho pulls back to kiss Nino's forehead.
They both jumped apart when Aiba squealed. Sho and Nino raised their brows at him.
"You two are just so cute!"
"Baka." Jun hits Aiba's head while Ohno chuckles. Sho and Nino turn towards each other for the last time and gave each other a last warm hug.

February 11
Nino wakes up in the afternoon. Today was his day off. He does what he does after he cooks and eats breakfast, play video games.
He busily presses down on the buttons of the controller. He suddenly misses the warmth beside him by the sofa when he plays, quietly reading his newspaper and babble about recent news and stuff. He presses pause and runs towards the bedroom.
He also remembers that he hasn't touched his cell phone since the day Sho left. He pulls it out from the dresser and opens to see 2 new messages. The first one was from his manager, reminding him about the meetings tomorrow and the second was from Sho.
Sho tells him that he misses him dearly, that he had just arrived from Vancouver and ending the text with loads of hearts.
Nino wonders how Sho was able to text him from Vancouver but he forgets about it and curls upon their bed and inhales the scent Sho left from his side. He was happy.

February 14
There was really nothing special on this day, Nino tells himself. He wasn't here, that was it. It was their freaking anniversary, damn it.
Nino wasn't motivated to work, good thing they didn't have any filming today.
The 3 members noticed his depression and decide to treat him.
For yakiniku. Nino was fine with that. It eased him a bit and made them happy and contented. They even had a few drinks.
"Happy Valentine's Day guys," Aiba toasts. Nino, Jun and Ohno brought their glasses towards Aiba's to agree with him. Aiba seats down to drink all of the beer in his mug before leaning forward in Nino's direction to whisper:
"And Happy Anniversary to you and Sho-chan." Nino blushes with a pout. He nods to thank Aiba while the Jun and Ohno clap their hands.
They didn't get drunk much that night though Aiba was as hyper as ever and Nino was really contented with the presence of his band members but someone was missing and that made him a bit unhappy.

February 15
Sho starts to fumble with his keys when he reaches their doorstep. He was so excited that he takes a bit longer to find the right key for the door. When he does, he pushes the door open causing it to hit the wall behind. He sees the hallway dark and the smile on his face vanishes for a bit.
He walks silently towards their bedroom, careful with his steps on not to trip or step on anything. (He once stepped on Nino's video game and was ignored for 2 weeks.) He finally reaches the bedroom door and opens it.
Sho puts his luggage to the side, not forgetting to get something from it, and approaches the bed. Nino was asleep, Sho notices from the light illuminated from the window above, on Sho's side of the bed. Sho smiles and decides to change into normal clothes, though he didn't bother to wear a shirt.
He slides in the bed. Sho does what he wanted to do for days, he spoons Nino until his back was pressing on his chest. This action startles Nino and wakes him up from his slumber. He turns his head as soon as he opened his eyes.
"Yo." Sho beams him a smile, that smile which he was yearning for days. Nino was still, the moonlight shone to him, and Sho couldn't resist sitting both of them up. Sho decides to open his gift for Nino. While he does, he was suddenly enveloped by Nino's warmth.
"Sho-chan, welcome back." Sho nods against Nino's shoulder. He pulls apart and Nino looks at him in confusion. Sho reaches to grab his hand and slipped something on one of Nino's stubby fingers. Nino takes a good looks at his finger in the moonlight to see that it was a ring. It wasn't that fancy, but it sparkled under the light. Nino looked up at Sho, who showed him his ring on finger as well.
"It's for our anniversary. I figured I should get us couple rings for our 7th anniversary. Happy Anniversary, Kazu." Sho says. Nino blushes, says that he missed Sho, and Sho tells him he missed him as well. Nino chuckles when he realized something when he gazed down once again on the ring on his finger.
"Baka, does this mean I'm married to you now?"
"Huh?!"
Nino links their fingers and shows his finger to Sho.
"You placed the ring on the wrong hand."
"I didn't mean it! It was dark and I'm pretty tired and sleepy so I---" Nino cuts him off with a kiss, deep and loving, telling Sho that he didn't mind it at all. They part and Sho was beet red. Nino laughs at his face.
"I don't mind it at all, besides," Nino reaches for Sho's right hand, removing the ring and placing it on Sho's left hand. Sho watches in awe, blush fading slowly.
“...you’re stuck with your Kazunari forever." Nino finishes his sentence. Sho could only nod to agree that he too doesn't mind it at all. Nino lays down, pulling Sho with him, and lets Sho spoon him up against him again. Sho kisses the top of Nino's head before placing his left hand on top of Nino's left one. Nino smiles. Later, they both managed to drift off into slumber, their fingers entwined and rings shining under the moonlight.
