For Nino to either laugh or smile, there is someone who definitely could.
Sho.
It was natural part of Sho he learned throughout the years, his gentle touches, comforting words and sunny smiles made him never to take away that smile of his face. His failures, idiotic acts and silly gags never failed to make him laugh. (Unless it was a very bad pun, it depends.) He doesn't ever take this for granted.
Sho knows when or how to make him smile. Whenever Nino is frustrated, unhappy, disappointed and mad towards work, he's always there just to make him turn that frown upside down.
Nino was in a bad mood today. Sho knows better. Sho observes it from today's interview of a magazine. When they were both left in the greenroom, Sho takes action. As Nino slouches lower from fixing his bag with an annoyed sigh that Sho heard just a while ago again, Sho stood up from his seat.(Waiting for the other members to leave and pretending to read the newspaper while waiting for their alone time together was hard.)
With a few small steps, Sho swiftly hugged Nino from behind. Nino straightened his posture in surprise by this movement.
"Something bothering you, Nino?" Sho whispered in his ear, hot breath tickling him and sending bits of shiver down his spine.
"Sh-Sho, nothing's wrong,really."His stutter and the tone of his voice made Sho knew something's up.
"Eh, you're lying. I know you're a good liar, Nino but you can't fool me with this one. I've noticed your attitude." Nino bit the inside of his cheek. Busted, Sho thought with a small smirk. Nino turned so he could hold Sho properly back by the waist. Sho kissed the top of his head, Nino leans his cheek on his shoulder. "Tell me, Nino."
"It's not that of a big problem. I may just be exaggerating, you know?" Sho nods. Nino sighs before starting. Nino tells him about last week when they had a day off. He waited for months for this new release of a video game. The video game was supposed to come out on the day of their day off but Nino found out that the new video game arrived a day early and that it opened a day early as well. The next day, Nino finds out that the game was sold out and the next stock would come in 2 months or so.
"...the fact that I waited for months for that. They only betrayed me." Nino groans in exasperation, accidentally taking his anger out on Sho by pinching him in the back. Sho yelps. Nino jumps back in surprise.
"Sorry, Sho-chan." Sho shakes his head to say it's okay. He sits by the sofa, patting his lap gesturing Nino to sit there. Nino obeys. He hugs Sho again, tight while drawing small circles with his finger on Sho's lean clothed stomach.
"It's alright, Nino." Was all Sho managed to say. He mentally kicked himself for not saying anything other than that.
"I'm kinda useless right now, really. I don't know what to do or say." Sho adds a while later.
"Nah. As long as Sho is here, it'll ease me." Sho nods with Nino's words. There was silence right after. Sho is busy thinking about stuff to make things better, much better while playing with Nino's hair.
"Ne, Sho? Let's go home now---"
"Wait, Kazu."
"What is it?"
"Actually today, I'm feeling kinda down today too. Wanna know why?"
"I'm listening." With Nino last line, Sho pulls Nino back by his shoulders and looks him in the eyes. Nino tilts his head with confusion. Sho swallows and leans to crash they're lips together. It got deeper and Sho took a hold of Nino's hands that he loves very very much. Out of breath, they pulled apart.
"What was that?" Nino says with a few pants. Sho brings out his sunshine smile.
"I wanted to do that. I haven't done that since we're so busy. And with it, I can smile now."
"'Smile now'? What are you talking about? You've been---"
"Fake. Those were fake smiles. You've been doing it too today." Sho grins and continues.
"Sadness' all out. Now, it's your turn to smile. Show me the bright one I fell in love with." Nino shakes his head.
"I can't smile just yet, Sho-chan. Again, please?" Sho was very happy to oblige and kisses him again, tilting his head to make it deeper. He feels Nino's lips curl upwards and Sho's heart was filled it utmost warmth just by feeling it against his lips.
"I'm happy." Nino pulls back by a few inches and flashes him his priceless grin.
