You know, it's an interesting statement when a 20 page PEL is not considered in the Epic class.

A Little Night Music is terrific. "Send in the Clowns", in particular, is one of the types of love songs I actually like--the Well, This Sucks, Like I Knew it Would sort.* And the rest of the music is awesome for other reasons.

*The other type I'm fond of is This Is Gonna Suck, but What the Hell, appropriately enough.

I love "A Little Night Music". It's one of my favorite pieces.

I occasionally want to throw bricks when I hear soppy versions of Send in the Clowns (esp with actual clown outfits - I'm looking at you, Winter Olympics) instead of performances that get the context.

oy vey, so true. It's not a song to be overdone, and Bernadette Peters delivers it in a very sad, understated fashion.

Eh, don't worry about Mark. That's what Vegas is for, right? Anyhow, they made him take a 15 point spread on the bet, so he would not have won even if we had been 14 points ahead. Yay "stupid tax". :-) Hey, if we've only lost $20 on gambling here, that's pretty good, right?

They WERE up by 15 at one point... They should have been up by 21!
