Assistance needed

Good Morning!! I am having some difficulty with my computer at work and need a helping hand, please. I purchased a Microsoft keyboard which comes with a CD to install the software. I had to force the CD drawer open, it lights up, but will not run the Software. I have tried going to the Start menu and Run, typing in drive:setup and receive the ( Read more... )

If you go into Windows Explorer and double click on the CDROM drive it should give you a list of files. Double click on the setup.exe file and run it and that should solve your problem.

The only thing in the folder is MTMCDAI.SYS
Everything else is gone....

Why don't you just plug it in and use it, I'm guessing it works because you typed this message. =D Don't worry about loading the software and using the fancy buttons up top. The software for my keyboard like that slows my computer down a lot so I don't even bother with it. =)

LOL sorry... I did of course plug it in and use it. I was just asking a question, there is other software out there that I now cannot load because somehow the exe file is gone...
