I will be the one to watch you fall, I will be the one to crash and burn your beggar's banquet.

So. Now all talk of Benjy-bloody (ha, quite literally) Fenwick's death has died down, and plotting seems to be going well otherwise, it's time to deal with those Prewetts. Problem is, one of them works in Hogwarts and the other in the Ministry. And contrary to popular belief, trying the same tactic on murder twice in a row doesn't work too well. Hogwarts is just no go. Mainly because it's impossible to get into, and mainly because I'd like to imagine that it's safe too. Hell, my son's got to go there someday.

So we have to get these two together. Now, I reckon Gideon, being the pansy that he is, goes home to visit people at weekends. And if not, if we attack his brother, who's the first person Fabian will call for help from? Gideon. They will come together, but to be sure, we should do it at a weekend.

Then the simple bit. Kingsley's flat is (from, um, sneaky surveillence, thank you rat boy) ridiculously well protected, it would seem. It's to be expected, as Kingsley needs it. Trust me, Kingsley needs it. But we don't want him there. We definately do not want to be dealing with Kingsley Shacklebolt, because he'll bring the 'might' of Aurors and...it'll get to be a mess. Outnumbered is never good.

But. It does seem Kingsley is on reasonable terms with Rookwood. Which means he doesn't suspect him, which means Rookwood can be used to keep him at work. After all, I don't get the impression Kingsley is the sort of man who goes home early. Although, on a weekend...I'll see what Rookwood can do for me.

Then again, what if he, shock horror for an Auror, puts two and two togther. Rookwood asking him to stay...murders in Kingsley's flat. Hm. Even so, we've been studying the protection of his flat for a long while. I think, with enough of us, we can break through. The git's used some Ancient curses, though, which means we need to break out our one and only crazy, annoying ancient runes expert, Wilkes.

So. Me, Wilkes, Dolohov and Caius (why the hell do we need those two? Apparently to prove loyalty or something. I reckon He just likes to make me work harder). Make sure Kingsley's away, make sure Gideon will be the first other person to turn up, make sure nobody else will turn up (I suppose Wilkes and Caius could re-ward the place whilst me and Dolohov get...to business). It helps that Dolohov has hair now, at least.

Seriously, I just wrote that sentence.

I need you to do something for me. Make sure Shacklebolt is at work the weekend after next. Saturday. Also, make sure not to be the one who asks him directly. Come up with something to keep him there. Hell, go kill a muggle if it helps.

Right. The Saturday after this one, the Prewetts are getting theirs. And you're coming with me. Wilkes, you're good with Runes, correct? Because Shacklebolt has a load of ancient wards on his place, and I need you to break them. Dolohov and Caius? I'm not sure why you're coming, but meet us at an alleyway just down from Shacklebolt's building. I can show you where if you're unsure.

This will be simple and quick. We are to kill them both. If Shacklebolt or anyone affiliated with him is there, we are only to fight them off, unless presented an opportunity we can't refuse. This is not to be a bloodbath, this is to be two quick anonymous (well, aside from the obvious death eater part) murders. Get yourself a good alibi and be there. Especially you, Dolohov.

Today is a wonderful day. Mainly because it's nice weather for September, but also because Draco's just having such a wondeful time in the garden, the mood is sort of infectious. Not to mention, autumn is glorious.
