Loss.

One does not lose things or people. They are let go or cast away, but never lost. So, I suppose the question becomes what does one regret letting go?

The short answer? Nothing.

The long answer? One should probably say a connexion with my family. However. They certainly do not miss it, so why should I?

Millicent... even if your family doesn't miss the connection with you, which I find to be nearly incomprehensible, honestly - why does that necessarily preclude feelings of loss or grief on your part? Wouldn't working through the emotions allow you to heal yourself and get past them, and go on with your life without the need for further regret?

If it's any consolation, I should not be happy with myself were I to, as you say, let you go or cast you aside.

Feelings of loss or regret?

Laugh. That's funny, KITT.

Don't be offended, KITT. It's just...shakes head no.

I might answer this question the same way. I think our reasoning is different.

Actually, I don't think I'll answer this question this way at all. I regret the loss, but I don't remember what it was like before it.

Loosing conextions with members of your family can sometimes be a good thing. Espcially when they are not worth it.

Neither do I. We're even.

Surely you most regret losing your position on the Quidditch team? One must admit, though, it was a spectacular way to go out.
