That is my opinion too! Even though it would cause many people to be pissed off that we are changing something that has been around forever, I think that is the most fair way to do it. Then the churches can have their weddings the way God wanted them to and people can be equal since marriage (and the rights coming with it) is a civil thing.
It's funny to look back 50 years when interracial marriages were illegal - now we laugh at that. I bet in 50 years from now we will laugh at gay marriage being illegal back in the days.
It still boggles my mind that people try and justify discrimination based on sexual orientation.
Me too, I just can not understand how they can think that way!

I hope so! The way some people carry on about it, you'd think that homosexuals marrying was a sign of the apocalypse. I swear, some people here are convinced that when homosexuals marry, the terrorists win.
