first off most of the religons are based on jesus christ and the bible so its not just bush. and bush didnt declare a direct war on Iraq he declared a war on terrorism, and Iraq just happened to be the first ones who threatened us with weapons of mass destruction.

That is true. But, not everyone worships any god. I know more athiests and agnostics then I do Christians. I also know many pagans.

But by stating that Gays should be denied rights because what they are doing is 'wrong' because in the bible is says so, is going agianst the first amendment and Jefferson's "wall of separation of church and state".

Bush has no right to deny his people their own rights.

I was stating that, how can our president deny someone that belongs to his country, their own rights? It seems to me that he shouldn't have the right to do such a thing. It all leads back to the president because he is the one that said it. A homosexual should be able to lead a life exactly the same way that a heterosexual should. Marriage included.

Tasha, you start such controversial subjects! it's funny. but to put my 2 cents in.... gay people (all people) should have all the same rights, no matter what. bush seems to forget about separation of church and state. he shouldn't form opinions controlling the country based on his religious beliefs. everyone has a right to there own opinion so u all shouldn't get so mad at each other. some people can't help being born ignorant. that is all.
