I used to read on my lunch breaks at work and then sometimes over lunch on days off. But since I've been home I just haven't been itching to read. Course my life has been a thousand odd little things the last couple months, so maybe once things settle down again...

See, the thing with me is I am never NOT itching to read. I always have a book ready, and I usually decide what I'm going to read next before I finish my current book. I don't usually do this consciously; it just happens. My grandmother once told me I was exactly like her because "I always have book in my hand."

Lol, I know! Like I said, I was on a Mercedes Lackey kick. I really like her writing, obviously. The other thing is that among those books listed there are several series, and it's hard for me to just read part way into a series and not finish it. A number of the non-Lackey books I read came from ALA.

I don't think I can pick one favorite, but here are my top three in no particular order:
"11/22/63," "Between Shades of Grey," and "The Secrets of Mary Bowser."

I also really liked the Black Widower books by Isaac Asimov. I never cared for short stories before I read Asimov. I can't even put into words how much I love all his writing.
