I hope you weren't expecting a coherent review because I can't right now, but this is cute and really, aww, kids and aww, the zoo and panna behs and jalafs, and aww, and OMG, I love it. And responsible daddy!Changmin. You characterized him so well here and really, I like how you went about setting up the backstory without making it too heavy, considering that it's not the focus of the story. And I like that you didn't demonize the mother.

That night, Shim Changmin curled up on his bed, holding his nine-month old son almost protectively against his chest, and tried not to cry.

I knew backstory was necessary, but I didn't want to drag down the entire thing with it, so I tried to ease through it. And I have a tendency to demonise the parents that leave? Which is weird, but I didn't want to do that here. She was just a young woman who realised she was in over her head.

Oh no, I didn't mean you specifically, just that people tend to when dealing with this sort of situation. But you dealt with it very delicately and I like that. I mean, I understand why people do so but it wouldn't have fit the tone of your story so I'm glad you didn't get wrapped up in that. Anyway, I really like the dreamy quality of the beginning also. You can see how they got caught up in each other and how rosy things must have seemed at the time. It's really good. YOU'RE A GOOD WRITER, MISS. DON'T FORGET IT.

Oh I know what you meant! lol I just meant that... in other stuff I've written, I've had the kids be VERY bitter toward a parent that's left. It's always the kid though, that's bitter about it. And usually the parent that left is bitter toward the one that they left, for some reason. o.o
