Inglourious Basterds (Finally)

Inglourious Basterds comes out on DVD today. Here's the review I've been fussing about with since August when I saw it in the theater--

Not only did I love that movie, but every time I see a new review of it, whether negative or positive or mixed, I love it even better :)

I do love IB. When I watched it I was torn between "this fucking rocks" and "why have I been here 3 hours" but overall it was pretty amazing. In my world of filmmaking there's Tarantino then there's everyone else....

lol there's a few directors I do like as much as Tarantino, but yeah, he's definitly in my favs' list ^^

I don't mind long films, so I was okay with that. I usually enjoy Tarantino's "talky" movies, I don't mind the slowness at all.

I do feel like the talkiness was sort of the point of IB though I'm not 100% sure it always worked. I'm a huge Tarantino fan. Orange/White from Reservoir Dogs are pretty much my OTP, the pairing that got me into fan fiction and slash.
