I finished reading American Psycho, thank goodness. Extraordinary book but it draws such a vivid picture of its narrator’s psychosis that I felt a little insane reading it

I know what you mean about 'American Pyscho'; it's one of those books that effects you on visceral level. It's good to know I'm not the only one with bouts of literature-induced craziness. 'The Bell Jar' and 'The Secret History' also have the sort of hold over me.

I'm sorry you're stuggling with the whole eating thing. Sucks, doesn't it?
