Damn, I haven't posted in a long time. I guess I've been caught up in work, my growing relationship with Hans and concerns about my grandmother's declining health. However I am still here, I often think of you, and I love you all.

I'll have to write a retrospective post about how Hans and I got together. We are going out at this point and I like him a lot, though I still have mixed feelings about some of his views. ...

Thank you. Hans and I are sort of boyfriend/girlfriend at this point, I guess I haven't felt quite comfortable posting a lot about it because I do have mixed feelings to an extent but it doesn't feel fair to him to air them in a public forum (though I should point out in my defense that Hans isn't his real name and he doesn't know about this blog so the chance of it ever getting back to him and hurting his feelings is pretty slim. Still.... it's been a long time since I've been in a relationship and figuring out what's private and what's public is going to take a while....)

I'm doing okay. I guess I've been struggling with what is/isn't appropriate to talk about on-line when you're in a relationship or dealing with someone in a very delicate situation like my grandmothers. Though lately I've been thinking that there's a lot of other stuff I could post about, my pop-culture obsessions remain intact as do my things like struggles with depression, alcohol, and food.
