 I'm just going to go with the big honesty here as to why I keep completely forgetting about livejournal, and my writing, etc. I know I've sounded either dingy, whiny, or just plain full of excuses

I am so sorry you are going through the crap that you are. I am not having the best time of it lately either. Seeing this update and that you've posted your chapters makes me cry. Literally.

Today I had to euthanize my dog. She's had a long, drawn out sickness that has wiped me out. I've been feeling like shit and have had very little to look forward to lately, as I knew this day was coming. It was only a matter of when.

You have just saved me from a weekend of complete misery and despair. I will no be wallowing in my thoughts! Instead, I will be reading the chapters of your story that I have been so looking forward to. I did not think that anything could make me happy right now. But, YOU did. So, thank you very very much!!

I'm really thankful for my timing! I lost my dog a couple of years ago, and I completely understand how much it hurts. She was twenty years old, and one of my only friends when I was young, since I lived out in the country and couldn't have people over very often. Tilly wasn't really sick; she was just very old and very tired. I knew the day was coming for years, but it didn't really help much when it arrived. I hope you feel better soon. I still cry from time to time, but I'm usually smiling or laughing about a memory of her when I do.
