Loooong journey. I had the idea for LTG almost ten years ago. Wow. The first attempt looks nothing like the finished version, but I think it's my favorite story to date. Oh *phew* I assumed the worst when Spike thought he figured out where Brad was. Better this way, he doesn't bear to have killed a man. Even if it's a bad one link Brad.
Heh heh, Kurt had it coming. I hope things will be easier for Dawn now.

So I followed a rec on the spuffy realm to your story earlier this week. I absolutely loved the story. I read it in a matter of a few days. Like a book I couldn't put down. I absolutely love the characters you've created here and where you've taken the old favorites. I really love the Dawn/Oz couple and cannot wait for the sequel that will involve them. Hope it comes soon.

Thank you! I started work on the sequel this weekend, and I've gotten about half a chapter written so far. There's no definite outline yet, so I'm going slow until I figure something out.

First thing I want to thank to for restoring my faith in humanity. I heard so often from authors that they mean to wrap up they work and everytime those promises were failed. (even worse case are fic taken down for re-write that NEVER happen) So thank you so very much for such a beautiful gift. After being on my toes though 44 chapters the end was a bit of: ah... sorry... do you really mean... end... as in ... it all?! Then I remembered you are doing sequel! I know it will be mostly about Oz and Down but we will get glimses of that young family too, right?

Funny, because Long Time Gone is actually a rewrite of a horrid story I did years ago. It doesn't even resemble the original, but that was its humble beginning. I'm also guilty of not finishing a few stories, which I hate, but it unfortunately happens. I'm really glad you enjoyed this one, and it only ended that way because there's more coming. There will be plenty of Buffy and Spike.

ah... I have silly questin... Buffy never died her hair back to blond, right? You see Faith comment (Hey, B love the hair or something close to it) confused me... I read back... and nada!.. so I am seriously confused are Buffy blond again or Faith just tried to be nice?

She went blonde again in Chapter 24. It's mentioned a few times. Did you skip the chapter, maybe?

well now I am confused even more *nervouse giggle* I went and re-read chapter 24. And I remember first part with Spike's recalling they naughty past and bikini shopping perfectly! But the rest looked absolutly new. How could half a chpter went over my head?!

Yay for not only Oz/Dawn romance but more of Spike-Buffy-Emilly
