tim and i are engaged now. he asked grandpa's permission. and then grandpa wasnt sure if he heard him right so when i walked into the room i had to translate it....and tell him that it wasnt like happening like tomorrow....after that he just turned to tim and said ok. apparently when tim first asked he was like " i have a question" grandpa was like

fransisca. i know i havent been around much, this tends to happen in october... BUT DONT YOU THINK YOU MIGHT BE MOVING WAY TOO FUCKING FAST IN THIS RELATIONSHIP!??!! i dont want to sound like a bitch... but you should really be concentrating on school and a career right now... not a goddamn wedding! i know youre happy with tim (i can tell) and he seems like a really awesome guy... but seriously, youre only 20 years old... you have your entire life to figure out if you want to marry this guy... i dont even care if you get pissed at me for reacting this way... i care about you, and i dont want you to get hurt in the long run... or even worse... i dont want you to end up getting married and then realizing that he's not the person you though you were marrying... ive seen that happen before.

i understand where you are coming from and i see your point....but frankly it is MY life and it IS what i want. i dont really care if you or anyone thinks its too fast or not the right time for me or anything...(not to sound like a bitch) but i love tim very much and he loves me and this is what we want. my family is very supportive of this and so are many of my friends. and its not happening tomorrow ....and its not like my life is ending because i am getting married. and with ppl's support or not i am going to marry him. so either be happy for me or dont be...just dont think that anything that anyone says is going to change my mind. and i love you and im not angry or anything ...but this is how i feel. we can talk about this later
