Funny thing that I'm not into MSI and the thing that made me care a lot about her was her statement about our role on everyday world just like the music scene or whatever scene you want to talk about and there's girls around. THIS made me go insane about what she does - and does well - who she is: an amazing woman, an amazing artist, an amazing mother, among the other things that we both know.
LOL. It basically happened in reverse to me. I know who MCR were and detested them. When I got into bandom, Lynz was often mentioned in fics/primers and I remember looking at a pic of her and thinking '...damyum!' and deciding I needed to check that out. When I finally did, I came to the conclusion that she was way to cool to be with Gerard Way. LOOOl (as much of a shipper of theirs as I am, I still maintain that opinion. She IS way too good for him. Luckily, he is well aware of how fortunate he is. =DDD)
What did get me about her (you know, besides the school girl uniform) was that interview she gave about not wanting ppl to call her 'Mrs. Way'. I swear I drool yellow after reading that. I remember flailing and quoting that to every single person I knew back then and demanding THAT was spread world wide, instead of fucking Beyonce and Shakira videos about how much of a sextoy for men you have to be in order to be accepted in the music business.
