"Ouch, alright. Ouch. Now stop punching me!!"

So I've just decided that life is very often a game of "Ouch." Life will not only punch you though, but punch you where it hurts. I'm sure the whole point of life is to see who's weak enough to give in and say that little word that deems you a coward, but I refuse to be one of those people. Awww, that's so sad!

My pastor's son just came back from Iraq about a month ago after serving for a year and a half. It's been hard for his family and my church. He wasn't even here for his one-year anniversary with his wife (he had to leave 6 months after they were married). But everyone's glad he's back and unharmed. Some people do make it back okay, and you just have to have the hope and faith that Harrison will too.

I'll be praying for him, his family, and you too!

I know what you mean, I'm kinda in one of those "Life Ouchie" moments (which is ridiculous cuz I have a car, I got Keith Urban tickets for Christmas, I'm getting my dream Prom dress, I'm healthy, I have a loving family and great friends! But it only takes one thing that you're missing for all this to just seem..."not-so-great").

♥ ya, hun!

I wish I had something really deep and compassionate to say, but I really suck at that kind of thing, so just know that I'm thinking about you and I hope he comes out of this alright. Also I have an unbelievable amount of respect for the military, so I don't even know him, but I'm proud of him. Things happen in the best way possible, and this is "the best of all possible worlds." Go read Candide by Voltaire(Euro assignment) and maybe it will help? I liked it a lot, helped me think about things, idk, I just liked it. But anyways, you're in my thoughts babe!
