RPlog: meeting zack in the cafe

yazoo stepped into the cafe, still looking nervous and shy. the close call the other night still had him rattled, he was sure that someone was going to jump him again at anytime. he moved stiffly, like he was still very sore.
he headed towards the back, looking around for Zack.

Zack was sitting in a close corner in the back of the cafe by a large glass window. He was watching the people pass by and idly stilling a spoon in his coffee. Upon the cafe's door opening, he looked up and grabbed Yazoo's attention with a small wave.

"hey!" he greeted. "you made it."

yazoo smiled in relief, heading over to zack "I'm sorry I'm late...' he sat and ordered a large american coffee, relaxing now that he got here safely.

"hey it's ok" he said with a small 'doesn't bother me' shrug. "so.. whats got you all worked up kiddo?" he asked, leaning back in his chair a little. He had been concerned for mutant safety in the city ever since zell had gotten in that fight all those months ago. Things were starting to brew and it definitely was not his cup of tea.

"ah, I was coming back from dad's office.. and some guys jumped me." he rubbed his face, feeling stupid all of the sudden. "guess I'm lucky to have my mutation... I got away before they could hurt me badly."
