It had been a quite morning, no big cases, no broken hearted girlfriends who suspected of their boyfriends, not even a widow who wanted to talk with her currently six feet under husband.

So, he thought it wouldnt hurt a soul just to leave for a few minutes to get a pineapple smoothie. Not even Gus could blame him this time.

But he didn't expected to see someone inside the office when he got back. He was sure he had locked the door.

"Gus?"

Jenny turned around when she heard Shawn's voice, a smile on her face. She hoped she didn't look like a Gus - unless he suddenly made a habit of walking around in skirts (which, as far as she knew, was not an acceptable norm on Earth).

He was taking a look around the office's waiting room when he recognized that voice. His face broke into a smile immediately.

'Jenny?' He followed her voice and there she was, looking as bright as a tv star in an award show. Okay, maybe not that fancy, but she definitely knew how to show off her beauty. Shawn opened his arms to give her a hug. 'Oh my god, I'm so glad to see you!'

She hugged him back, ignoring her confusion at the fact that he didn't seem to expect her. Hadn't they agreed on today?

They had, hadn't they?

"I got the day right, didn't I?" Jenny asks, stepping back a little to better look at him.
