I can't wait for someone to invent either a pause button for life or a limited version of the TARDIS where you can just sit in the Time Vortex and do stuff before returning to the moment you left. Do I take it you're 'trying' to write during the day when it doesn't happen and not 'trying' at night when it does?
Yes, I try to write during the day, especially right now, since I have my mornings and afternoons free, but it gets ridiculous. I find it very difficult to focus and write out exactly what I'm thinking. Whereas, at night, I get tired, but suddenly it's like my fingers take on a life of their own and the words spill from my fingertips to the keyboard to the screen so easily. It's very odd. I don't know if it's a stress thing or a mood thing...but it's frustrating! Because then I stay up writing/typing, and I'm effing my sleep schedule, which is not a good thing for me. :P
It sounds like something I've had myself and heard a lot of people talk about. Do you feel like maybe you're stifling yourself through either trying too hard or censoring yourself as you write to the point where you don't write anything?
That actually makes sense. Pressure creates a "blockage" of sorts I'm sure. It's a little odd, because in school, whenever I had to write essays and the like, I always found I worked and wrote my best under pressure. But, maybe that's because I HAD TO whereas here I WANT to...
...I just really want to make the best use of my free time... :P
