Meanwhile, I've gotten this far in refining The Plan: we buy all kinds of neat food items and Cadbury desserts at various markets from Tesco to Brompton, and cook them at home (since we will stay in a place with a kitchen). We satisfy our clothing desires with trips to Trimark, which is like H&M only most things are 2 to 10 pounds, NOT KIDDING. Okay, so our Food Budget and Cute Clothes Budget are both affordable. Now, on to plane tickets and the fact that you have a family you love and might be loathe to leave...

I haven't heard of Trimark. I did hear the US is getting a Topshop, though. That cracked me up! Cooking at home is definitely the thing to do, especially if Cadbury desserts are involved. O plane tickets. That will be the big thing, won't it. But it will be worth it!!!
