Oftentimes, Chris comes up with a concept or image and describes it to me as best as he can. Then I make a preliminary sketch and we work with that until I'm ready to put it on canvas. I love to draw and paint, but I'm not so great at the conceptual side of art. If you'd like, you could send some ideas to my email (LindseyLocke@gmail.com) and I could sketch something out for you. I could maybe even make a painting or two, if that's something you'd like (and you can take total conceptual credit).

Occasionally he'll come up with an idea and describe it somewhat vaguely. In those circumstances, the art I make is usually very different than what he envisioned, but it's cool because it's a strange mesh of our combined creative efforts.

Tell God thanks, and give me my first project!!!! I've been meaning to do some art, but I haven't had the motivation.

Oh, and also, you can see some of my artwork here ---> http://cat-locke.livejournal.com/2564.html#cutid1

OH MY FREAKING WORD, I nearly fell over with laughter when I read "tell God thanks and give me my first project"!! I have most definitely told Him thanks (considering I hadn't even officially ASKED Him yet) and I will totally email you. :)

I had no idea you even did art! How did I miss that? I feel like a bad LJ friend. :p Maybe I should post a mini About You poll in my next entry so I can learn more about my friends.....

Okay, going off to check out your art! And are you freaking serious about doing a painting?! For how much, including shipping and handling? I am so BLEEPING excited! I love art - especially uncommon art (i.e. not-famous-artists).

No worries. I haven't really done much to speak of lately. I got stuck sketching a preliminary and I haven't touched it in weeks. I was trying to find an old-school wallpaper print that was easily contorted... that doesn't really make any sense, but when I finish it (if ever) I'll be sure to post it.

As far as cost? I don't know. Pay shipping. I have paint and brushes, and I may even have some spare canvas lying around. The thought of having new, fresh inspiration is what excites me. I'll be sure to photograph the piece when it's finished and add it to my limited portfolio (with you credited, of course), which is always a good thing. :)

Oh, and I forgot to say thank you to your compliments on my paintings post. Thank you! :D
