Just want to say, right now I'm listening to my Dad's Elvis Costello and Tom Waits records really loudly at 3 am (he's sleeping at his fiance's house) and I'm eating cookies and chatting online. On Saturday 7 Feb I went to London with Maul E. Cater to see the Ultraviolent Femmes play the Steam Rollers in Clockwork Carnage, the London Roller Girls' second-to-last bout of their season. Went on an all-night drinking escapade with friend from the restaurant on Tuesday. He is such a sweetie, from Northern Ireland. Am starting to wonder why I did this Scotland adventure thing. Besides the derby, which has been SO AMAZING, it's just been a big waste of money. I kind of feel like a failure in terms of jobs too... the restaurant job is fine, but the shop just kills my soul. And it would be impossible to change jobs now...
