I'm not saying with any certainty that Ron Paul IS a white supremacist, but he sure didn't seem to care that anyone thought so between 1978 and 1998. He probably did change his mind, and or come out of his cave, read the back issues of his own newsletter, and apologize back when he says that he did - I'm not going to search lexis nexis (I don't have it) or even google it to find out; I'll just take his word for it. Regardless of whether I give him that much credit, I just think it's still pretty funny how low a standard he is asking to be held to. It's about what you'd expect for a presidential candidate, though. I just think it's funny.
