Pretty neat little app. I wonder how many pictures I need to take to make a little "movie" like that. Somehow, the software/app adjusts for lighting I suppose. Gone are the days when we had to be really clever to take a 360 degree panoramic shot.
It doesn't take that many, but the more pictures and the more clearly recognizable overlapping repeated patterns, the better. The lighting works out pretty well, but only so much. I took a bunch of pictures of my desk and they formed two little groups, one where my desk was slightly more orange-looking, and another where it was much lighter due to the angle from the light source. That was in spite of the fact that patterns (some fairly unique recognizable items on the desk) looked pretty obvious to me. I might try again with a better camera - I was just using my phone, so naturally it looked like crap.
