I am bemused to have been labelled such by virtue of my income level.

Oh, just a light-hearted-enough-I'm-sure generalizing comment from an lj-friend of an lj-friend who is apparently at the other end of the earning spectrum. No big deal at all, the choice of wording really did just amuse me.
