My understanding of lj was that if someone was on your mutual friends list, any entries you can read on their lj user page you should be able to see in your friends page. But that's not how its working for me. I randomly clicked thru to someone's user page, and saw boatloads of entries that I can't see in my friends page

Even if they're on your Friends page, if they backdate their entry it doesn't appear automatically on your Friends Page.

I backdate entries a lot & even if they're private (has that lock on it), my Friends can see it still but only if they visit my home page.

I sure hope that made sense :)

Yup, that makes sense. It makes even more sense given that you're the person that I noticed had entries that weren't on my friends list ;)
