Feel too busy to do things, but as anyone who's a PhD knows, most of that business is spent in procrastination

Mate there is so much here to comment on, but I think I'll start with the positive and say that it's great your life is doing so well; girl, PhD, music, the whole shebang.

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your grandfather, and I hope you have plenty of good memories to carry with you.

It's great to see the Phd is pushing ahead; how far in are you now? This: "Feel too busy to do things, but as anyone who's a PhD knows, most of that business is spent in procrastination." is one of the truest things I've ever read. I like(d) to approach it as a form of thinking. Things certainly get toyed with a lot in my mind before becoming an idea.

that conversation was surreal for me too. i'm utterly overwhelmed by the whole thing.

as for the folks.. their entire reason for coming to sydney was to see the stones and hang out with you and i together, since it seems we rarely get the chance now, it wasn't really to pick you and the house apart. i doubt they'll even see your house in the end.

it still kind of amused me that you fit "jadey is moving her entire life to sydney" and all that goes along with it, in one paragraph.

yeah, you shouldn't worry about it. besides, i'm kind of just crashing your place. it's not like when you picked the house you picked it knowing that i was going to live there too. the house isn't really made for three people. i understand that.

ahh i didn't mean everything-everything. i just meant you and me stuff. like.. long distance relationship for 20 months suddenly turning into being in the same house.

i didn't hear it, but it had to be really really bad. there was a fuss about it on a music forum i go on. i wonder whether paris hilton's music will be worse. (she's meant to be influenced by pete doherty, you see). ugh.

maybe if we get rid of all the cockroaches there'll be more room for you :/
