I made it. I turned 30 yesterday..... Hard to believe that I've managed to pull that feat off

I just ran across this entry and it's funny because I am not 30 just yet. I will be turning 29 and I'm freaking out. It's one year closer to 30. I know 30 really isn't old, it's just that I thought by the time I was 30 I would have accomplished certain things in my life. Seems I haven't, so the closer I get, the more I freak out.

I'm turning 28 in 4 months and 5 days, and I'm completely not ready for it. I feel better knowing I'm not the only one who's feeling a bit adrift at the age when they're already supposed to be all settled down.

I turned 30 at the beginning at the month and I'm still running around and acting like someone in their early 20s. Besides people I just meet still think I'm 23-24. Age is all in your mind. You can act however old you feel.
