OK, I got a great philosophical question: a few days ago I finished reading the book 'High Fidelity' by Nick Hornby (i recommend it to music lovers everywhere! though it might not be so interesting for RnB fans...) and in the story the protagonist asks a very interesting question at one point:

That sure is one philosophical question! and a hard one....

I guess we listen to music because we are unhappy. Music can be a great source for all of us if we are in need some sort of energy. But, you have to pick the right music. some music can take you deeper in to shit that you were before, mainly by music which is about nothing rap crap and that sort of stuff. This music hasn't got any form of artistic expression and it is all based on fashion and stuff like that. So I think if you listen to this sort of music you can get unhappy by listening to music.
