So, basically you're pulling a lever to dispense frozen yogurt? Do you get to mix it with anything or throw gummy bears on top? I heard they require a B.A. for that. ha ha ha
Welcome to the food service industry, sis. My stint lasted one day and then I had food poisoning and I didn't go back. Good luck, and congrats on the 2nd job.
Actually, dispensing yogurt is not quite as easy as it looks. There's a bit of a technique to it. And we don't mix goodies in, they go beside your ice cream.
Good thing they don't require the B.A. for it, since I've still got two years to go before I get mine.
Yeah, it's pretty cool. Most of the people who want Froyo are really relaxed, don't freak out too much when some of their favorite flavors are out of order, and understand and sympathize when I make mistakes. But it's a pretty easy job. I was serving people my first night. My only drama now is finding out when I work next, and my boss is pretty informal/laid back. And I'm used to bosses being really on top of their shit, so this is superweird. My job might actually be a little too lackadaisical for me, which is befuddling, I know.
