If it's the version from my copy, it's "revised edition" pub. 1978 (but it's the first revision so yes it's the second edition).

I think it's actually Jacob's copy, because I couldn't get at it when I wanted to make Col and Kirsten's marzipan. That probably means it's a newer edition. The phrase "new microwave edition" is wandering across my mind.

(Jacob) My copy is (C) 1992 and called out as "New edition for the 90s". It has a yellow cover (decreasingly so these days).
