Well I'm back!

Jul 03, 2009 19:23

....after a month of pure bliss, we had to cut our escape from reality short, due to a serious family illness. So I'm bummed on a few levels.

So how are all of you? Any crucial wig/Gross updates to cheer me up? :)

ETA: The hell? Michael Jackson died?!

YAY!\o/

How are you? You had a great time? Spill!!!

What happened? E-mail if you need anything, all right!

Quite a few Paul news. Some more hideous pictures:) and he will be at ComicCon this month in San Diego. Bugger! They don't have any tickets any more, not that I could anyway but...

Great that you're back! ::hugs::

Hello! We did have a great time thank you - not much to spill really, just lived in and off the woods for a month, with nothing but our own wits. It was utterly fantastic, and I'm already aching to go back.

Thank you for the email offer :) I think said family member will be ok, but it is very early days yet. We're seeing them tomorrow, so hopefully it will ok. Gulp.

Ah, good more bad hair - I'll have a hunt for pics in a while, that will make me laugh. Is that shoot over now? Is he back to normal? Oh and I love San Diego - not sure whether I'm more jealous of Paul or San Diego!

Lovely to

Ooh fantastic, thank you. All the updates in one place!

Actually, I'm liking the hair on the character...in real life, he looks like a clapped out Bon Jovi, or in that set picture, like he's auditioning for Jesus Christ Super Star. :) Thanks very much!

I have nothing against the hair too!
Maybe a neat haircut suits him better but it's quite interesting to see him with long hair.

I admire him for doing that though - 99% of actors would just keep their hair normal and wear a wig. Paul on the other hand, grows his hair out, has extensions put in and is seen unashamedly in public with it :) Did he say anything of significance in any of the interviews?

You really were gone, were you? Yes, he died last week among others. There were quite some deaths:(

Oh yes, we haven't heard a thing for weeks. Living under the veritable rock. We only heard about the family member due to a phone number we left in case of emergency, and that didn't include Michael Jackson for some reason (what happened there?). I better go and listen to Billie Jean....I presume that this was an enormous, huge news story? Can't imagine it was a couple of articles. Who else died? [This is getting more depressing].

Huge news, indeed. It's kind of sad, though. People like him just can't die of natural cause - something must be to it.

Now they fight over the kids, the money. I'm sure this will go on for some time to come.

Farrah Fawcett died as well, and Karl Malden.

Oh for sure, just reading about the death now - heart attack? drugs? All sounds sadly typical.

Farrah Fawcett was ill from what I remember. That's also a shame, and Karl Malden!! Just also seen that two of my favourite actors are getting divorced as well. I think I'll go back into the woodlands, it's a happier place :)

More importantly, how have you been?

Welcome back! Sorry to hear your return was early for such traumatic reasons. I hope whoever's been ailing will recover and be okay.

Congrats on escaping the news for weeks on end! Now THAT is my definition of a vacation. :-)

I imagine you're caught up on Celebrity Death Week now, so I'll spare you a rerun of the obit colum. *g*

Thank you. The ailing person has had a major operation and is recovering well enough, but it's too early to tell for sure.

I'm sort of caught up on Celebrity Death Week - wow, a lot of them were eager to leave this month weren't they?

How is everything with you?

I didn't see that you were back! *crosses fingers for family person*

Did you have fun making with the naked frolicking?

Not too bad.

  • Am back at work, back issue having leveled off to a dull, annoying, silly thing. Seeing a chiropractor.

  • I'm in a new place which is small and beige but has two bedrooms and a view of the bay (only not that close).

  • Am off to Ontari-oh-oh-oh next month. Will go to Stratford to see Macbeth starring He Who Must Not Be Named, then on to the Centre of the Universe, where there is a municipal workers' strike and lots of garbage. Would also like to visit the capital if I have time/money, but am not making any wagers on it.
