Computer's crapped out.

Starts up. Does the 'apple & spinny progress' thing... then it gets lagged on the blue screen. Doesn't go further than that. Have tried a few things and nothing has worked. Can start up in 'safe mode' but don't know what else to do.

Gah! Don't wanna have to take it in. :((((((

Were you about to install or download any critical updates? You're having the same symptoms i had with my iBook. I had to reinstall my OS.

The only thing I can think of that I did before it went wonky was I cleared a bunch of stuff, moved iTunes & iPhoto files on to an external hd and then did a software update. I was expecting to have a nice, faster computer but noooo, it went nuts on me. :(

And we've been too busy lately for me to even take it in anywhere so it's just sitting here like a lame duck.
