I always thought Iowa was a very peaceful, flat place. Not full of radical patriotism and the like.

I do believe that it's one of the 4 states in which Bush still has an approval rating above 50%...Or at least that was true a couple of months ago.

Ok, I just looked at the numbers, and I was way wrong about that **sigh of relief**.

But still: people are very patriotic here. Luckily, the college students have an appropriate amount of cynicism and liberalism.
