Fanfiction is both welcome and encouraged in this community. If you do not tolerate fanfiction based on these books, this may not be the community for you. Do not, under any circumstances, tell people that they cannot post fic. If you do not approve of fic, skip those posts. Well, really, we will really enjoy reading any and all fan fic. Particularly if it involves Saetan.

Does Anne Bishop not like fanfiction?

I've heard people bitch about it, but it's still a section on ff.net - and hell, they took down Archie comics because the creators were against fanfic. All she'd have to do is say the word.

I think it's a section on FFN because it's mislabelled and nobody's brought it to her attention. From the FAQ section on her site:

"Q. Is it all right to create role-playing games or MUSHES/MUDS based on your work?

A. No. At this time , I am not granting permission for the worlds and/or characters that I created to be used in role-playing games or MUSHES/MUDS. I also do not give permission for fan fiction that uses the worlds and/or characters that I created because of the copyright issues involved."
