So after some suspicious, ill-timed, seemingly unprovoked, and, above all, frustrating resets of my computer (not to mention the monitor's cataract-goggle impression), I decided to open the case and settle the matter. ASUS Probe assured me it wasn't a temperature problem, so I reasoned that the video card was the likely culprit, probably dislodged
