So apparently my Dad and I are going to Chicago in January to visit grad schools... this I didn't know until my Granny wrote about it in a card she sent me. Sweet

That sounds like a great year of domestic travel. I was just in Chicago and it is BEAUTIFUL! Downtown is really nice, clean and lots to see. My only complaint is that CTA public transit really blows. Anyway, I hope you have fun. Leigh and I might be going to Vegas to visit her sister for spring break, it would be cool if we were there at the same time...

There are a lot of people going, but I'm not really sure. I definitely am though! It's Sat, Oct 6th. I e-mailed Melissa about it, but she never responded. We can definitely do lunch! I'll call you when we're there?

Yes. Or call when you're getting close and tell me the plan. Melissa wants to eat with us too. What museums are you visiting? Because if it's informal and people wouldn't mind me hanging around a bit, I'd be up for bumming around museums. It's only a huge part of why I moved to this city--another part being that I might see my Hollins loves more frequently! xo

It's very informal, basically they're just giving us a ride and dropping us off near the museums, so yea... come hang out! We're getting there at like 11 I think. Sooo, I'll call!
