I had a most execellent date yesterday. after a few days of antcipation we meet at the statue of Achilles in hyde park. i was running late cos the place that i went to get strawberrys was open at 1130 but the tills didnt open to 12 (the meeting time). we sat in the park for hours eating strawberrys and discovering that we are the same flavor of ( Read more... )

Well, I would remind you that this Friday will reveal her true quality.

For truly, if she doesn't adore Serenity, how can there be a future for the two of you?

To further pursue that thought, I would recommend showing her, if at all possible before then, at least Disk 1 of Firefly. Joss does an extremely elegant job of setting things up for newbies, but it's not *quite* enough to get you invested and up to speed if you're not already.

And I would venture to suggest that it's very much in your interests to get her invested in the 'verse- you would not believe the number of women I had to comfort after our little preview. Good times.

Well, if she didn't like Serenity, that would mean that she wasn't human. I'm guessing Paul's checked these little details. ;)

you are a filthy man :) the plan is that i will go with meredith and sarah on friday and later with Ellen after we have seen the series but the plan may become like the room.

Well, fair enough.

One other word of caution: I would recommend finishing all drink and candy that you have in the theater by the start of the third act. That is, when you see the shot you've already seen in the trailer of Serenity entering the gas cloud, you should stop eating, for cool things happen every moment after then, and their stunning effect might cause you to choke.
