You know how sometimes you just can't sleep...well last night was one of those nights. I just didn't feel like sleeping. Now I'm paying for it cause I have to go to work today. It's probably because I haven't been going to bed till after midnight for the past four nights in a row and sleeping for 12 hours...but yea i have to head off to work soon.

We it's about 23 days until my birthday...(April 28th) and it's my 19th birthday. I wanna do something, but like not go crazy. My bday is at an awkward time this year because I end my work term the 29th I think, and then the sunday of that weekend I move into residence to start my 2nd term at university. That how much ur friends love you quiz is the greatest quiz i've ever taken...so of them seem like they could be very true, others seem obsurd, and everybody finds them greatly amusing, i want to do more quizzes like this. But i'm delaying my PDEng assignment so i'm going to get back to that.

I just watched a movie called Equilibrium. It reminded me a lot of the book 1984. It was good, there was lots of awesome fight scenes too. The main theme was opressing the society from feeling by making them take these drugs. And they got rid of art, music, literrature, everything that can invoke feelings ( Read more... )

haha so today was the fourth year engineer's Iron Ring Seremony (IRS) and it was crazy. All the 4th year students were dressed up in crazy outfits, yelling, and drinking beer at school today. They clearly didn't have any classes. And the halls they occupied smelled like beer after they left. It was funny, some guy was dressed in saran wrap...lol. ( Read more... )

HAPPY ANTI-VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

So tomorrow I relocate to Waterloo, I'm co-oping at the University. I'm helping a Prof set up his lab. I move into a place off campus. I checked it out, and it's really nice, newly renovated, 10-15 min walk to campus. I'm excited and kinda nervous at the same time. That's all I can think of right at the moment.
